North Tees & Hartlepool NHS FT Charitable Fund is a separate charity working with the NHS in Stockton and Hartlepool. Donations and funds raised are used to enhance those aspects of patient care and staff development which are not funded by the NHS. All donations are greatly appreciated.

“The Kilmarnock Community Sports Trust is the community branch of Kilmarnock Football Club. Our aim and objectives are to promote participation within sport and the community whilst developing individuals from young to old. The KCST look to engage and inspire the local community through sport by providing a variety of diversionary and all-inclusive programmes as well as raising awareness of sporting events throughout Ayrshire. KCST will use sport as a tool for promoting the following topics: health and wellbeing, citizenship, employability and social inclusion.” The three key programmes we run are; Go Fitba – A football based project at Kilmarnock Football Club. This programme offers young children a platform of regular and fun physical activity on the pitch over 12 weeks. It also gives them an understanding of the importance of leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle through diet and nutrition. Holiday Programmes - We partner up with selected Primary Schools over the summer holidays and offer cinema trips, skiing and snowboarding, trips to visit to historical castles and sports activities at the schools. We also include packed lunches and hot meals for the children and parents. Football Memories – This programme is for Dementia/Alzheimer’s sufferers, we invite the local community to take part in an afternoon of fun activity based around the knowledge of football at Rugby park the home of Kilmarnock Football Club.

Each deafblind person is unique, and sometimes has complicated needs; often their deafblindness is combined with other disabilities, so a care programme can be very complex. By providing human support in the form of help at home, communication and mobility support, counselling, together with specially adaptive equipment, we help deafblind people achieve their full potential, whatever that may be.
