The New Forest Marathon Community Fund aims to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle within the local community, where we provide grants to contribute towards community projects and community groups. Local community groups that we support range from: -Brownies and Guides -Beavers, Cubs and Scouts -Youth Police, Air, and Army Cadet Forces -Sports Teams -Dance and Cheerleading Clubs We help to provide local community groups to complete activities that they may not have had the opportunity to participate in before, all of which promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. We also help to fund projects which promote wellbeing as well as helping to contribute towards much needed equipment for good local causes.

Founded in 1967, New Horizon has always been motivated by concern for the number of young homeless people coming to the Kings Cross area and getting drawn into a damaging lifestyle. In particular, young people who are involved with the drugs and the sex industry are seen as targets for New Horizon's intervention. Typically they are suffering from emotional and mental and/or physical health problems and are at risk of offending.
