Masjid Bilal has been established since 2006, we started off in a one bedroom flat, above a local chicken and chip shop, with the support from our diverse community. Due to high demand of the local and surrounding community to develop the masjid, we saw an opportunity to purchase and move in to our current location, a previous Church property on Sarum Road. Alhamdulillah, Masjid Bilal has since purchased a 946.5 Sq.M former Delivery Office (below) opposite our current Masjid with the intention of relocating to it. We have now been granted permission to use the Royal Mail Building as a Masjid, and have recently bought land adjacent which has since been tarmacked and is now used as a car park.

The Bobby Moore Fund raises money for research into bowel cancer, and also works to raise public awareness of the disease. The Fund was set up in partnership with Cancer Research UK in memory of footballer Bobby Moore OBE, who sadly died from bowel cancer, aged just 51. Every day in the UK, 44 men and women die from bowel cancer. However, if detected early, over 90% of cases can be successfully treated. Each year, with the help of people like you, the Bobby Moore Fund raises over £2 million. The funds are spent on high quality research carried out by leading scientists across the UK. Your support will help us tackle bowel cancer.
