An important current object is to improve the care and well being of the 100,000 sick children admitted to or seen each year in the QECH by raising funds needed to pay the nurses, clinical officers and related staff who each year treat some of the poorest children in the World and to pay for other much needed resources and medical equipment.
Our aim is to combat poverty among homeless people in West London. We operate London’s largest Night Shelters, accommodating up to 100 people a night throughout Winter. This project is backed-up by year-round day services, including full-time advice workers and laundry and shower facilities.

The OPA has led the fight against these devastating cancers for over 30 years, by working to promote awareness of these lesser known but rapidly increasing cancers. This means that many more lives can be saved through earlier diagnosis and better treatment. The OPA receive no government funding.
Rising concern over the continuing high level of fatal and life-changing injury accidents on farms prompted NFU Mutual to set up a charitable foundation to help all farmers, and especially young farmers, work more safely. The Foundation works closely with farmers, the farming unions and a range of farming organisations, including the Farm Safety Partnerships of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, to help reduce the toll of fatal and serious injury accidents which, regrettably, have made farming the most dangerous occupation in the UK. The Foundation's 'Yellow Wellies' campaign specifically targets young farmers aged 16 to 40 years of age.
