Sufferers can only be offered therapies that that may manage some of their symptoms but often, liver damage continues until liver failure approaches and the only hope is the uncertainty of liver transplantation. PSC Support operates support lines, provides information and newsletters, online community forums and regular meetings that help PSC sufferers become informed so that they can be proactive in the management of their illness and give them access to peer support so they know they are no longer alone. We also promote and advocate for the needs of PSC sufferers and provide contributions and support to PSC medical research initiatives. We're run 100% by volunteers, totally funded from private donations and help anyone affected by PSC.
