Bright Futures UK supports young individuals through a period of illness by providing educational, social and professional support. We help young people bridge the gap to minimalize the effects caused by taking time out of education. Every young person has dreams, why should illness stand in their way? At Bright Futures UK, we understand from first-hand experience the pressure young people experience when faced with illness. We aim to minimize the disruption caused and help our young individuals build their skills, as well as their confidence. This is so that the transition back to normality is as smooth as possible, with the least amount of disruption to educational and social life. In 2017, we will be launching our first workshops and mentoring programs! Our mentoring programmes are tailor made to fit the needs of both mentors and mentees, whilst our workshops will be split into two categories; ‘alternative’ and ‘skill based’.We will also be offering tutoring services for young individuals continuing with their studies, as well as counselling services for those who need that extra support. As we expand, so will what we offer.Bright Futures UK is ready, are you?!
