DOTZ was founded by a group of friends in 2016. Our mission is to help struggling Zimbabwean medical students reach their potential by assisting with their tuition fees. We support students who are already enrolled in medical school, but who find themselves in financial difficulties. DOTZ is a UK Registered Charity (Registered Charity Number 1179019). It is entirely run by our trustees. We have almost no administrative costs, meaning that every pound donated goes directly to helping struggling Zimbabwean medical students. Since 2016 we have supported over one hundred medical students to continue their studies, who otherwise may have had to abandon their dream of becoming doctors.
We will support all wild hedgehogs that are at risk, and in need or treatment or rehabilitation. We do not advocate the intentional capture fit and healthy hedgehogs. By encouraging the benefits of a biodiverse natural environment and eco‐system in gardens and greenspaces. Additionally we will help through the promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of animal charities and the voluntary sector for the benefit of wild animals. These activities give the public new and different opportunities to help wildlife on their doorstep, as they are able to adapt their gardens and exterior spaces to their properties in order to benefit all visiting wildlife. In turn this helps to provide environments in which hedgehogs are able to flourish, creating linked up areas that then provide benefit to much larger geographic areas. This advancement in awareness will help towards a reduction in un‐ necessary injuries to hedgehogs, and to educate members of the public to intervene in an appropriate manner, with them only when it is appropriate for them to do so, and to be able to locate their local support services.

The International Meeting of Young Beekeepers (IMYB) is the world’s largest gathering for young people passionate about bees, beekeeping, and building a better future. Since it first began in 2010, IMYB has grown into a global celebration of learning, friendship, and international collaboration, bringing together young beekeepers aged 12 to 18 from over 40 countries. For the first time ever, IMYB is coming to Northern Ireland in July 2026! IMYB relies entirely on the generosity of sponsors and donors for it to go ahead, and we need your help to make the 2026 event in Northern Ireland a reality. More than just a competition, IMYB is about inspiring the next generation of beekeepers, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, and nurturing global awareness of the vital role bees play in our ecosystems. This event is building a buzzing global community of young changemakers. Young participants test their knowledge and skills in friendly competitions, take part in cultural exchanges, and form lasting friendships with others who share their love for bees, from Australia, China, South Africa, the USA, and almost every corner of Europe. By supporting IMYB 2026, you're not just funding an event, you're empowering the next generation of environmental stewards, community leaders, and global citizens. No donation is too small, it all adds up, and a little help from a lot of people can have a huge impact, thank you in advance for your support 💛
