We are a small UK charity who ensure 100% of all our donations go directly to support Nayamba School, in Zambia. We also visit the school at least annually to see the difference our financial support is having, to identify future needs and to support practically with teacher training etc. This school provides education to 300 children who had never been able to have an education as other government schools are too far away and too expensive. We help the school by raising money for essential resources, cover the cost of teacher salaries and also contribute to capital building projects. For more information go to www.nayambaschool.org

Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. Ickford School is a primary school in rural Buckinghamshire. We are incredibly lucky to have a supportive headteacher who is determined to push even harder against the cuts in arts, music and sports funding and to ensure our school excels in these areas as well as maintaining the other core curriculum subjects. All the money we raise goes directly into the school to provide whatever we can for our children and to help towards whatever resources our teachers and teaching assistants need. Everything and anything you can spare and give makes an enourmous difference. Thank you. Charity No: 1014989 Find out more Website Please click here to visit our website

Abbie's smile, sparkle and infectious enthusiasm lit up the room and that's exactly how Abbie wants people to remember and celebrate her life. Abbie passed away on Christmas Day after living with a rare form of Sarcoma for four years and four months. Christmas was Abbie's favourite day, she loved it, we believe that Abbie held on and chose the sparkliest day of the year to go. One of Abbie's wishes is to raise money for "Hospitals and stuff" under the charity name Abbie's Sparkle Foundation. It was the sense of humour and laugh-out-loud mentality which set Abbie apart and meant she lived every moment and every day to the full. Abbie was a vivacious and talented cheerleader who was hailed by medics as "incredible and was an inspiration to be part of her care". Abbie went on a very hard journey, but was so strong and so brave every step of the way.
