The Future in Our Hands Education and Development Fund seeks to improve the lives of the world's poorest and most marginalised people. Since January 2016 the FIOH Fund has supported the construction of a new treatment and rehabilitation centre for severely disabled children in the Cameroon. The project is managed by a local non-government organisation, Global Rehabilitation Services (GLORES), who moved into the new centre in April 2017. We are continually fund-raising to help pay for ongoing treatment activities. If you would like to support this project with us, please make a donation. Your help is greatly appreciated and our low administrative costs ensure that your donation will go directly towards the cost of a child's treatment. (UK, 1161070) Browse eventsLollard Street Adventure Playground aims to improve the well-being of children and their families in Lambeth. We provide free adventurous play sessions for children aged 6-16 years of age. In this great safe space children can climb, build, run, create and explore in their own time and way. We encourage the children to initiate their own ideas and projects. Lollard Street Adventure Playground used to be a Lambeth Council run project but got shut down and remained derelict for 2 years in 2012.Thanks to a local voluntary organisation (Kennington Association) we have managed to re-open it back up to the community but now rely on funders and donations to keep the project going. Your contribution will go directly to helping the play project stay open and thrive.
