Southwell Scout Group is lucky enough to be based in our own recently upgraded, purpose-built HQ in a lovely location overlooking the playing fields of Southwell's Memorial Park on Bishop's Drive, just on the edge of the beautiful Trent Valley countryside. Every week more than 160 young people aged 6-20+ meet to enjoy the Everyday Adventure that is Scouting! They are helped by a team of around 24 volunteer Scout Leaders.

They are child-centred environments that provide toys, games and facilities that reflect the diverse needs of children affected by family breakdown.
Cubafriend was set up in 2008 to help Cubans in the Holguin area of Cuba recover from hurricanes Gustav and Ike. It has since gone on to provide much needed help with resources for schools, housing, healthcare and sports and recreational activities.
It cares for patients with advanced and deteriorating illness towards the end of life. Its nurses create a special environment for those who wish to die at home. It offers care that encompasses both the person with the life threatening illness and those that matter to that person.

St John's Church is the parish church in the Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney. Because we're local, we can arrive at the patient’s home before the ambulance or paramedic and then we are able to provide essential treatment at the earliest opportunity. We stay with the patient until the ambulance or paramedic arrives.

Barnet Borough Talking Newspaper (BBTN) has for the past 30 years been sending free of charge a CD or cassette of local news to sight impaired people in Barnet. Nobody in BBTN is paid and we rely on the interest from our donations to pay our outgoings.
60% of older people in Notts experience loneliness and isolation which has a terrible impact on health and well being. We provide a vital lifeline with day care, outings & social activities locally each day. We are run almost entirely by volunteers and are largely self funding. Please help us.

Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. We are PAFA, Parents & Friends Association for Birch C of E (VA) Primary School. We meet every couple of months at school to discuss ways to raise money. Over the previous school year, PAFA has again continued to support Birch Primary in many ways. In addition to the Grand Summer Fete and Summer Raffle, there have been fundraising events throughout the year including sports day teas, film nights, Clothes Aid collections, Easy Fundraising cashback, Book People orders, cake sales and donations made directly to the school in response to specific fundraising initiatives.Through such events PAFA has been able to provide the following for the school:contribution to the school football team, rugby tops, playground signs, table top games, outdoor tables and parasols and a fete banner.We are currently raising funds for a new school playground of which plans can be seen at our school.

Grampian Deaf Children's Society (GDCS) support children with hearing impairments, and their families, in Aberdeen City & Shire. Run by a voluntary committee of parents and local professionals, we organise events and activities for hearing impaired children, siblings and parents/carers and work closely with local professionals to improve services for children in the area. We try to provide a peer group for this group of children who are often socially isolated in mainstream education. We receive no national or local regular funding and rely on donations and grants to continue to provide support to these local families.
