Oliver & Learn is the charitable foundation of OLIVER group, a global integrated marketing agency. We have one mission: to alleviate poverty. We do this by supporting educational projects in disadvantaged communities around the world. Education leads to better lives. And we’re passionate about the benefits our grants provide. The students we support may not have otherwise been able to attend school. But through education, they are able to enhance their own lives, as well as that of their families and community. It's amazing how far a small amount of money goes - £120 pays for a student to attend school for an entire year. Attending school, also means they are guaranteed a daily meal, which otherwise might not be the case. All the money we raise goes directly to support schools and students. We work with local charities to ensure it goes to the most needy. We appreciate all the support that you are able to give and so do the kids, who really need this the most.

We are a community amateur sports club (CASC) that provides facilities and cricket for both male and female cricketers from the age of 8 upwards. We have a pavilion situated in lower castle park in Colchester and have two cricket pitches on the same site. The pavilion consists of three small changing rooms, kitchen, bar, lounge, toilet and a cellar. Externally the club has a four lane astro turf cricket practise facility and two cricket pitches. The first pitch is the main senior cricket pitch and has been in place for over 150 years. The second junior pitch was installed 4 years ago due to an ever increasing membership. The club runs mens and ladies teams and junior boys and girls teams from under 11 through to under 19. The pavilion requires redevelopment and extending to accommodate our ever growing club and this is the purpose of this fundraising campaign. The proposed project is to refurbish and extend the existing cricket pavilion to accommodate extra changing facilities following increasing junior and female membership and development of a second playing pitch. This will allow the club to further expand and accommodate new junior members and provide further sporting opportunities for the community. The newly developed building will contain four large player changing rooms, an officials changing room, disabled changing and toilets. The newly developed building will also include an improved function area, kitchen and disabled access to enable possible use by a partner community or sporting organisation. The building will be more sustainable to accommodate more activities throughout the year. The existing facility has no disabled access and a small function and kitchen area which requires improvement to enable use of the building all year round.
