What is the problem you are trying to solve? The South Indian Muslim community in the borough of Croydon, who came to make their living in UK, has slowly built since the late 70s and 80s. Like minded professional migrants in mid 2000 noticed that this community lacked guidance on education, career progression, women up-liftment and economic prosperity. This resulted in communal deprivation and a lack in “sense of belonging.” Why do you care about this? We find the community scattered and lost the sense of belonging. The progression on the community and the younger generation are quite week. This hurt us and so Alhidaya is born. This will set as a platform to bring unity in the community upliftment How will the money be spent? Money will be spent to build the community center. We have already locked the property and having short of funds to complete the full transfer. When will supporters see the difference? The initial work have started , Fund raising is in progress, refurbishment have started and trying to achieve completion by 1st week of April. Once the community is fully functional the society can see a remarkable difference

CIO number 1158377 Chanctonbury Community Play Scheme (CCPS) is a small charity that runs summer holiday playschemes for children with special needs (EHCPs/Statements) across West Sussex. We are a locally based and volunteer run charity incorporated organisation (CIO) and were first established in the summer of 1977. Each year we help provide respite for more than 120 families. It costs over £80,000 for us to be able to operate each summer, the majority coming from fundraising and the securing of grants/donations. Thomas Bewick School, a Specialist SEN College for Communication and Interaction, in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are a specialist school for children aged 3 – 19 with a diagnosis of Autism. Thomas Bewick School is for children and young people with autistic spectrum disorder. It was set up by Newcastle Local Education Authority in 1999 as a specialist provision in the City although it also serves pupils from other local authorities. The school currently has 144 pupils on roll, all of whom have a Statement of Special Needs which identifies Austism as their principle special educational need. Our pupils have a range of learning needs; some will require a high level of adult support to access the curriculum, whilst others are achieving close to age related expectations in some areas.
