Since 1995, Kickstart has worked with over 14,000 people and their families who have been affected by substance misuse. Clients attend a 5 day wk, 12 wk programme which includes group work, training and 1-2-1 sessions. 91% clients who complete the our programme remain clean from substances for life.
St. Elmo Memorial Trust provides pre-school education to disadvantaged children in Sri Lanka. It has two schools in operation in Mirissa and Colombo providing places for 150 schoolchildren between the ages of 3 and 6.
The bells of St. Nonna's Church in Altarnun, Cornwall, will not be ringing for much longer. Severe corrosion of the frame and sub-frame means that the bells will soon become unringable. There will be no bells to summon the faithful to Services, to celebrate Weddings, or even to toll for Funerals. "Save our Bells" is a Charity set up to raise the money needed to repair the frame and restore the glorious sound of the bells. Please help all you can.
