Ganga Prem Hospice is a spiritually-oriented charity whose aim is to work with and for terminally ill cancer patients. Our vision is that the Ganga Prem Hospice will serve as a model for other facilities to provide holistic care and improve the quality of life in the last days of a cancer patients journey. Ganga Prem Hospice aims to make first-class medical facilities available to cancer patients and their families to ensure maximum control over pain and other symptoms and to provide both conventional palliation and alternative therapeutic interventions. Ganga Prem Hospice will be a peaceful and loving environment for patients to make their transition with a minimum of emotional stress. Ganga Prem Hospice aims to provide services free of charge to any terminally ill patient, regardless of gender, age, ethnic group or religion. Ganga Prem Hospices current project is the construction of a fully equipped hospice in Rishikesh, North India, on the banks of the holy Ganges River (Ganga). The land has been purchased, funds are now needed to build, furnish and run the Hospice. The Ganga Prem Hospice currently runs a free monthly clinic in Rishikesh which offers: * Screening for possible cancer * Consultation for cancer patients * Consultation for terminally ill cancer patients * Distribution of free medicine Some ways that you can support the Ganga Prem Hospice * organise a fund-raising "event" * celebrate a festive occasion (such as your birthday, marriage, birth of child) by asking friends/family to make a donation to the Ganga Prem Hospice in your name * If you are a yoga teacher, you may wish to donate the proceeds from one class each month

Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.We give women and girls opportunities to socialise, learn and achieve their ambitions.  Your donation will help the most isolated and marginalised women to take part in activities at DIWC and take a more active role in the Dundee community. Dundee International Women's Centre supports all women, but with an emphasis on those from ethnic minority communities, to create and promote opportunities for social, political and economic inclusion and advance their education and employment.We offer a range of groups and classes, from social groups for young women and older women, parenting and arts and crafts to formal and informal learning and accredited training.There is the chance for women to increase their confidence and knowledge of employment in Scotland and to volunteer or move on to work.We have a creche at the Centre which enables women with small children to attend.  We can also offer mobile childcare services to organisations, business and private individuals.Professionals who work with minority ethnic communities can book our training in cultural diversity, internet safety (grooming and radicalisation) and harmful practices (honour based violence, forced marriage and female genital mutilation)Your donation will help us to continue this work. Our aim is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging high standards of conduct, based on the customs of the Royal Navy in our local community. We are open to young people aged 10 to 18, regardless of gender, religion, race or special needs within the bounds of safety.The remit of the Larne Sea Cadets is to provide fun, friendship, adventure and learning new skills based on waterborne and land based activities. As an independent charity, but part of the national Sea Cadets, your support is vital to us. We rely on the goodwill of our local community and businesses for financial support. Sea Cadets welcome donations, large or small which can help provide opportunities for our cadets. Your donation will go straight to our Unit, and it will help make a big difference to our cadets.
