Ace of Clubs exists to provide empowering and transformative support to local homeless and vulnerable people in South London. We work from our centre in Clapham. The number of people using our services has more than tripled in the last two years due to the impact of recession and welfare reforms. We support over 4000 local people and 120 people per day. We provide hot food, showers, clothing, laundry, welfare advice & advocacy, mental and physical health care, education, training & volunteering opportunities and link work for accommodation, rehab & detox. We partner with over thirty other local organisations to provide each of our valuable members (service users) with the best possible path of opportunity to see their lives restored. Last year we supported 92 off the local streets into appropriate accommodation and reconnection programmes, provided 17,000 meals and 3500 advice and advocacy sessions for those most vulnerable and marginalised in our community.
