Our funding keeps the school open 50 weeks of the year and and pays for a youth club, so children and young people have access to stimulating activities all year round. Our funding enables the school to work with post-16 students who have often spent prolonged periods of time in hospital and require continual support and guidance. Our funding provides a range of theraputic and enriching programmes such as art therapy, swimming and horse-riding and our award-winning arts programme - things which are so important to the development of children with medical or mental health conditions and which help children deal with difficult feelings associated with illness and hospital admissions.
