Chrysalis has been active for many years raising money for individual charities - in particular, the company's radio division has frequently worked with its listeners to raise funds for local good causes. Off the back of this, the company has now decided to set up the "Chrysalis Group Charitable Trust" to enable it to take a more proactive approach towards raising money. By setting up its own trust Chrysalis is now able to fundraise and claim gift aid efficiently, by entering into a partnership with Justgiving.com. It is also not restricted in the choice of charities that Chrysalis chooses to fundraise for, and can now process funds through the Trust which can then be allocated across a number of different charities of our choosing. The Radio Riders appeal is the first example of this approach in action.

Action on Bladder Cancer (ABC) is the only UK charity purely focused on improving the lives of people with bladder cancer. Every year in the UK, approximately 10,000 people are diagnosed with bladder cancer. Despite it being the 4th most common cancer in men and the 11th most common cancer in women, there is very limited public awareness towards the disease and it has a relatively low priority on the public health agenda. The primary aim of ABC is to help improve the care of people with bladder cancer through awareness raising, education and research.

Our mission at Holy Trinity is clear: to make Christ known. Our Church has led its Cuckfield community in Christian worship since the year 1092. We are determined that in the 21st century we shall provide that same source of spiritual and pastoral strength in an ever-changing and more demanding world. That is why we need you please to contribute now to our Repair, Restoration & Reordering Project Appeal. Holy Trinity is a most precious and beautiful Church which we have over recent years worked hard and lovingly to restore. During 2012 and after many months of planning, we fulfilled an urgent need to replace and modify some of the basic infrastructure and facilities within the building that had remained unchanged for 150 years. In doing so this has enabled us to serve the worship and other social needs of our growing community for perhaps the next 150 years. HOWEVER, OUR FUNDRAISING TO SUPPORT THIS WORK STILL HAS A WAY TO GO. By supporting our Appeal now we will be better placed to re-focus our efforts on our own core mission and charitable work locally and across the world. We have raised over £300,000 - more than half of the funds necessary - through the kindnesses of many. However, we need the further £250,000 to fulfil our Appeal goal. The project was completed on time in time for Trinity Sunday and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on 3 June 2012. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP TO REACH OUR APPEAL TARGET. Wherever you are in the world we thank you so very much for any contribution you are able to make. If you are not one of our regular worshippers we hope that you will be able to visit us at Holy Trinity Cuckfield to see our refreshed and revitalised Church very soon. A warm welcome awaits you.
