We are immensely proud of our dedicated and skilled volunteer workforce who deliver, often life-saving, services to individuals and families experiencing mental health difficulty - 1 in 4 people experience a mental health issue in their lifetime; sometimes triggered by common life events such as the death of a loved one, relationship breakdown, homelessness, domestic abuse, unemployment, coping with illness or caring for a loved one with dementia - these events can often cause stress, anxiety, loneliness or depression. People can turn to #UlverstonMIND - we listen and we care. (UK, XT27576) In the UK more than 4000 babies a year are stillborn, many for no apparent reason. That is 10 a day. This statistic has not improved in 20 years. We are raising money and awareness for stillbirth research. All proceeds go to the Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre at St Marys Hospital, Manchester. Stillbirth is a devastating thing to happen and funding is desperately needed to help reduce the numbers. I started this charity in memory of my first baby Holly who died when I was 9 months pregnant.
