Our aim is to provide help, advice and funds for individuals who find themselves stranded abroad for medical reasons and have no way of returning home.
A Leeds-based charity providing live music experiences for families. We run early years music classes, intergenerational singing sessions, award-winning Mini-Gigs, singing for post-natal depression work, specialist music work for families with a disabled family member and we develop workshops and performances with and for festivals or specialist groups. A donation of £5 could pay for a child to attend one of our weekly early years music classes. We offer free and subsidised places to families who are unable to pay. A donation of £10 could pay for a specialist instrument for a child to use in music workshops in the hospital or at a family support group. A donation of £25 could pay for a family ticket to a fully accessible Mini-Gig. We offer free and subsidised places to families who are unable to pay. A donation of £50 could contribute towards a music session for new mums with postnatal depression. Singing has been shown to speed up recovery. Lyla & Lilley’s Star’s was set up to provide special days out for seriously ill children and there families. we need your help to support us and this page is used for you to run your own fundraising events. All your help is very much appreciated and everything raised goes to the family’s that need help. Lyla was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016 and our life fell apart, over the years we’ve had support from loads of very kind people but what we missed was spending time as a family and making memories that last a lifetime, with your support we can create them days for other families.
