(UK, 1086093) Thank you for visiting the 1st Castleberg (Settle) Scouts page on My Donate.Every year the Scouts help 400,000 young people in the UK enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.1st Castleberg Scouts currently provide these opportunities to around 100 children and young people from Settle and the surrounding area through our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers groups. We value our links with the local community and are grateful for the depth of good will and practical support we receive from local people. In return we strive to help our young people become responsible, well rounded and contributing members of society. And we aim to do that in ways which are fun, provide new experiences and challenges and which we hope will provide a foundation for our young people's further growth later on.

YTD Raised: £0.00Kidswheels is a small charity run entirely by volunteers in Liverpool. We take children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds on free holidays and excursions, and also provide community transport to other local charities, schools, youth groups and senior citizens' organisations. This is often provided free of charge, or for a small donation only, which is much less than hiring vehicles and drivers from other organisations. This year, Kidswheels is aiming to replace one or more of our minibuses, which are coming to the end of their service. Without new minibuses, Kidswheels won't be able to continue to provide the truly valuable service we do in the local community.
