YTD Raised: £0.00The Hope Foundation is the community outreach arm of BCC, working to restoring hope, dignity and a future! Our aim is to reach out to the community in new and relevant ways, to improve the quality of life for people in different levels of society within the London Borough of Bromley. This initiative was first set up in September 2003 to help needy families and individuals by providing food and other essentials to those in difficulty. Over the years we have connected with a huge number of people including those in extreme poverty, the homeless, those in Hostels and Women’s Refuges and many more who are referred to us. Referrals come from many organisations primarily in the London Borough of Bromley including: Our primary areas of focus are: - Food Delivery - Christmas Giveaway (for more information visit the website) Over the last few years The Hope Foundation has expanded to provide other essentials such as towels and bed linen, baby clothes and special Baby Baskets which contain basic items and gifts for the baby. We also provide Starter Packs containing items for individuals who have recently moved into their own accommodation these contain small starting out goods for the kitchen. When available we occasionally provide larger items of furniture.

Work started with the publication of magazines/literature and conferences focusing on the youth. We aim to serve the needs of the wider community through the following: - to provide a deeper understanding of Islam - to further community cohesion - to provide religious education/tarbiyah activities - publication and free distribution of literature and audio CD’s - to provide a safe environment for the youth Through the Fadhl and grace of the Almighty, your sincere duas, kind donations and loans; At-Taqwa Academy has purchased a property for £520,000. The building was built around the 1850’s and essential maintenance and refurbishment works must be carried out to meet the current regulations. We make a humble appeal for all to pray for the success and acceptance of At-Taqwa Academy, it’s works, future plans and fulfilment of all its needs. In order for the completion of the works we are accepting Lillah (for Allah’s pleasure) and Qardh e Hasanah (interest free loans) for this project, we have a 30 days repayment (upon request) policy in place for loans.

YTD Raised: n/aMarlow Opportunity Playgroup provides a safe, caring, educational environment for children with special needs. We rely heavily on donations and fundraising to stay open and provide this unique resource to our local community. We are run 3 hour sessions during term time and have over 40 children under 5 years old, on our register with a variety of conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down's Syndrome, and a wide range of other physical, learning and medical disabilities. We desperately need to raise funds to provide more places for these special children - we are currently having to operate a waiting list as demand outstrips our funding. Please help by making a donation.
