Although highly successful as a fund raising body, FoR is equally concerned with activities that develop social links with in the community. We achieve these goals with fund events such as International Evenings where the wide and diverse community come along to experience each other through food and music. The annual Fun Run where we promote a healthy balance of exercise and healthy eating. We welcome involvement from everyone, so please let them know if you can help or if you have an ideas for fundraising. Also our big summer fete, Rotherfest, which the children love to perform at, boasting their self confidence and performing skills. FoR are a registered charity so we are always looking for ways to improve the school using external funding and grants. The money we raise goes to help improve the children's extra curicular activities such as school trips to amazing experiences and projects in the school such as the herb garden and raising chicks from eggs. We are also involved in the school with regular library clubs, free breakfasts and toddler stay & Play groups. The PTA has its own Facebook group page.
