Zimkids works in 3 main areas;Relief of Poverty – Taking care of families in desperate need, we provide clothing, healthcare, food and shelter.School Education – The education system is getting worse by the day so even when families can afford to send their children to school, they are still getting a poor standard of education. We help our parents send their children school by providing school fees but in addition we also provide our own schooling by teachers that we have trained.Self-sufficiency – Our key objective is to enable people to work their own way out of poverty. We train them to grow food, to keep bees to sell the honey, to sew and knit and by teaching them life skills and basic business skills.We also offer Emotional Support for our families who are desperately poor and are often in a very bad state emotionally. Finally, we share our Christian faith with our families through bible teaching and prayer. Provide food camps offering food to underprivileged men, women and children in deprived villages and slum areas.
