YTD Raised: £0.00

Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. Ashby and Thurton Playground Project is run by a group of local mothers who are looking to raise as much money as possible to help improve our neglected park and playing field. Our current park is tired, well used and in desperate need of updating with most of it having been in place since 1980 and the early 1990's. In a world where technology is taking over we want to encourage more children outside benefiting their social, emotional and physical health. We envisage an area for younger children as well as one for older. It would be a fun place for children to adventure outside, explore, keep active, burn off energy and create lasting memories. Not only do we want a space for our children to play in but we also wish to build seating areas with picnic benches, this is a space for everyone to enjoy!!!Thank you for taking the time to read all about us.With much appreciation The Mums of the Playground ProjectPlease donate to support our cause.
