These are often children, women, the elderly and families who have lost everything. For those who are young, disabled or too old to work, we provide financial assistance to care for their basic needs. For those who are more able, we support through education so that they can build a better future for themselves and their families.
SERV Kent, which is also known as the 'Bloodrunners', is a charitable organisation that delivers blood products to the Accident and Emergency hospitals across Kent at night, weekends and bank holidays free of charge, whenever and wherever it's urgently needed. We also work with the Kent Air Ambulance, providing 'Golden Hour Blood' every night of the year to its base at Marden, and the children's hospices Demelza, and EllenorLions.
