YTD Raised: n/aWe support young people (13-25 years old) with their mental health and emotional well-being. • We offer accessible community-based support within the Cambridgeshire area. • Support includes evidence-based practice along with a range of alternative/holistic therapies. A Mindful Paws provides a range of user friendly interventions and projects. We pride ourselves on treating young people holistically and have developed a range of creative interventions, based on the feedback we have had from young people. The young people have told us that the current services available to them can seem too formal which often creates a barrier to accessing support. With this in mind, we currently offer the following: - Canine-Assisted Therapy with Carrie who is an experienced mental health nurse (in CAMHS) offering group and individual sessions assisted by her therapy dogs Leo and Barnaby utilising established therapeutic interventions such as DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy). - Mindfulness and Individual therapy provided by Jo who is a mental health nurse (in CAMHS) and qualified mindfulness practitioner. Jo provides mindfulness training to groups and individuals alongside talking therapies. - Claire is an experienced youth support worker who provides social group support utilising creative methods such as, art and craft, cooking and games tailored to meet the young people's particular needs and interests.
