YTD Raised: n/aPURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION. The Mission Lanka Foundation aims to work to improve human rights in Srilanka regardless of ethnicity, religion or other (political) beliefs. The foundation wants to do this by bottom-up to initiate sustainable change by combating poverty, hunger and injustice and thus offering a better future perspective for children and their families. In collaboration with private individuals, companies and organizations, the new generation is equipped with knowledge and opportunities to ultimately provide their own income and thereby they are taught to work together with dissenters. This is how our objective is described in the articles of association of the foundation. The foundation tries to achieve its goal by establishing sustainable connections between private individuals, companies and organizations in the Netherlands and Srilanka. Knowledge and expertise are made available and facilities are provided for collaboration. We work in a solution-oriented way on requests for help from Srilanka. The foundation does not take political or religious positions and does not interfere in discussions about this. The foundation believes in the power of the word, not the power of the weapon. The foundation works from a Christian philosophy of life and has an eye for every person, just as Jesus did.

(UK, 1161678) Cambridge Breastfeeding Alliance (CBA) is a small charity set up to provide much needed skilled help, support and information for families in and around Cambridge who want to breastfeed their babies. We run a free weekly drop-in staffed by breastfeeding counsellors and IBCLC lactation consultants for mothers and babies, and their families, offering support and encouragement. We are dependent on donations to pay our running costs including room rent. Please support us! "If it weren’t for the support, practical advice and reassurance I got there I don’t think I’d have kept on breastfeeding, and I’m really glad I did! This caring place is exactly what is needed to help people to get going and keep going with breastfeeding." In 2006, due to the generosity of the school, alumni, parents and students, we reached our £1 million target for a new Sports Hall. We are grateful for the continued support of friends of the school who enable us to fund such essential, priority projects.
