Our team first formed in 2001, bonded together by a belief that youth ministries can be effective when built on the methods Jesus used to make disciples. In the next ten years we will train 200 Disciple-making Youth Ministers and 20 Movement Leaders who will make a difference in the church and in the lives of young people. We are intentionally putting our best time and resources into this band of young leaders, who we pray will spark a movement among youth.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh We are An Nur. We are a charity set up with the purpose of securing and providing a Masjid and Community Centre for the muslims of Harrogate and its District. Currently, although there are several hundred Muslims living in this area, there is no masjid or centre for the community. The nearest mosques are in Leeds, some 13 miles away. We are trying to raise money to buy a suitable building for a Masjid which can fulfil the needs of the local community by providing prayer facilities, a place for education of children and adults, for social gatherings and celebrations during Ramadhan and Eid. We are looking to raise a substantial sum of money and hope you will be able to donate generously for this good cause. No matter how little you can donate it all makes a difference and in shaa Allah we will be rewarded for our efforts by Allah (swt). Please help us to put the first Masjid in Harrogate!
St Paul’s exists to serve a world in need by working in local projects around the community.
We are an intimate and friendly school with just over 240 children in total. Our PTA charity is a thriving part of the school encouraging children, parents, teachers and the wider community to participate and engage with our events. Our fund raising is crucial to the extra areas of expenditure required to continuously improve our school and sustain excellence in our children's education. We thank you for our support.
Welcome to the giving website for St Michael's Church, Byker Parish, in Newcastle Upon Tyne. St Michael’s is a local church in the heart of Byker, East Newcastle, with a parish which covers much of the iconic Byker wall estate and going down to the river Tyne. We have been an important part of the Byker Community for over 150 years! We are still here and we’re not going anywhere! We are a family of people from different backgrounds, old and young who together try to work out what it is to be a follower of Jesus today. We meet on Sundays at 11am to worship, give thanks to God and study the Bible. Our tradition is Anglican but with a Byker Twist! and we’re always looking for fresh ideas and creative ways we can bring the good news of Jesus to people. Our services try to be family-friendly and fun (just like Jesus!). The Church is here for the benefit of the whole community and we want to show the people of Byker the amazing love of God. We are here for people through all the stages of life and we offer a place where everyone is welcome and accepted whether you are religious or not. We are a Church based in two places! Our traditional home is the beautiful 19th Century Church situated on Headlam St at the top of Byker. It has the best views of Newcastle in the city (believe me!) and now has the beautiful Byker Garden surrounding it. The church has undergone major repairs over the past 10 years and there is still much to do to update the building but it’s still a great place to worship, inspire and bring people together. Stay tuned to find out more. Our other home is the St Michael’s Centre, an old bakery on Raby Cross. This is a great space for our church to come together, and is where our Church office is located as well as being the home of our regular Youth Cafe.
Lewisham Music, a registered charity, is the former Lewisham Council Music Service & Hub. It is the music education hub lead organisation for Lewisham with a large team of music tutors delivering vocal and instrumental programmes in the borough’s schools. Young musicians and school music groups regularly join us in our exciting programme of concerts and projects. In addition, we have run a vibrant programme of music-making after school, at our Saturday Centre and during the school holidays. Our partner organisations include all Lewisham’s maintained schools, free schools and academies alongside a range of local and regional organisations. Working together we support progression pathways and high quality opportunities for young people at every stage of their musical development.

New Diorama is an 80-seat studio theatre with the ambition to be the only London theatre to specialise in supporting the work of Theatre Companies and Groups. Presenting high quality theatre productions all year round is key to our charitable aims. Since April 2010 when we opened, we've received excellent reviews and audiences for our performance programme. Our database tells us that just under half of our audiences come from less than a mile away, which means we’re beginning to become a local theatre with an increasing number of repeat visitors. Our mission has always been to make NDT a flexible building that has time and space for all members of our local and artistic community. NDT has grown as a cultural hub of the West Euston Area, clearly evidenced by the number of high profile local events that have been hosted here. Financial support has meant that we are able to accommodate all space requests at a small or no cost to the community and events and performances have been subsidised to enable us to cater to smaller local audiences. To ensure that we maintain a broad theatre programme that reflects the diversity of our local community and wider borough, every season we make sure there are several shows and events targeted especially at groups in our community who may be under catered for or wouldn’t normally come to the theatre. As part of our commitment to exceed our Section 106 commitments, we pro-actively create events to involve our local residents in creative projects. This year has seen a varied number of NDT led projects that have involved residents and workers from West Euston of all backgrounds and ages. We rely on the generous donations and funding from people and organisations to allow us to continue in our mission of providing a platform for Theatre Companies and Groups, and offering a creative home for our local community.
