Our PTFA is a charity, run by volunteers and we rely on the ideas, skills, help and time of people like you to make a difference. On joining the school, you automatically become a member of our organisation. We promote close cooperation between all caregivers, teachers and school governors; and we organise and engage in activities to promote the welfare and education of the pupils at Betty Layward. Our primary focus is to raise much needed additional funding for our school; which is unfortunately something that is becoming increasingly critical in the current landscape of reduced educational budgets.
