YTD Raised: £0.00Not every young person with mental health issues wants to talk, we believe that young people who suffer from mental health issues such as social and anxiety disorders should have access to a different type of therapy to help them cope with their issues. Our focus is to raise funds to organisations who can offer Art Therapy for young people who will benefit from this form of therapy. We raise funds to commission organisations who have the expertise to offer Art Therapy for a length of time outside the standard six to eight sessions. We also support schools in offering Art After school Club for children not interested in sports.

Friends for Life recognises how effective friendship is in reducing loneliness and recruits volunteers to become personal befrienders who can offer time, friendship and company to those who most need it. Most, but not all of those benefiting from Friends for Life befrienders are older people and Friends for Life offer their befrienders to any resident who is in need. Friends for Life befrienders make a real difference to the lives of those they visit and the work we do is enthusiastically endorsed by social services.
