(UK, 1123122) Browse eventsLondon Transport Museum is a heritage preservation and educational charity. We rely on the active support of business partners, individuals and grant-giving bodies to carry out our day-to-day activities, exhibitions and education programmes. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we restored Metropolitan steam locomotive No.1 into working condition to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground. In January, the loco recreated the first ever underground passenger journey on the original stretch of the Metropolitan Line as part of the celebrations. Projects like the ‘Return of Steam to the London Underground’ could not have happened without the support of our donors. Your donation – large or small – will help us to: Thank you for helping us keep heritage on the move.
We work for equality by defending the rights of immigrants and their loved ones, fighting racism and encouraging diversity in Irish culture, reforming the Irish immigration system and immigration laws, and encouraging migrant participation in politics through training and education.
