(UK, 1064952) Milton Keynes Pregnancy Crisis Centre aims to provide help and support to women, men and families and currently runs a project called “Baby Basics”. This service provides families who are unable to afford the immediate necessities for a new baby with essential clothing, toiletries, toys and (where permitted under current health and safety legislation) equipment, free of charge. This service is by referral from Health Visitors, Midwives, Social Workers, churches or other agencies such as Sure Start Children's Centres.

Its musical director is David Temple, one of the leading figures in choral music in the country. It performs at venues such as the Barbican, St Albans Abbey and Sage Gateshead. As well as performing established works, it also commissions new compositions. Recently it has commissioned Codebreaker by James McCarthy and Ode to a Nightingale by Will Todd, two of the foremost young British composers.

Created by members of the BBC Youth Choir Academy, we decided to form a youth choir in the North East for all to join. Our mission is to share the joy of singing to young adults in the North East. Rehearsals are held in the heart of Newcastle and we welcome members from Tyneside, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Northumberland and beyond. We don't believe in auditions, if you love singing, you’re welcome to come join us.

The school opened its doors to 3 girls aged 11 years in February 2012. There are now almost a hundred girls on roll. We are hoping to expand our educational offer to include Early Years provision for 3-5 year olds and Key Stage 1 starting in September 2015. The aim is to become an 'Outstanding' institution providing education from 3 to 19 over a number of years.
