YTD Raised: £0.00

George Abbot PTA is a community of parents, students, teachers and friends who raise funds to improve the quality of school life at George Abbot school and organise social events for the benefit of the whole community. The PTA's next big project is to raise funds to refurbish the school’s science laboratories. In 2014, the school achieved its best GCSE and A Level grades for Sciences. However the science experience which the students receive is affected by the poor condition of some of our laboratories. Five labs need refurbishment and we are aiming to raise £120,000 to fund 3 of these (at £40,000 per lab). The photograph shows a refurbished lab. If all of the labs were like this, it would make a big difference to science teaching at school. Please donate to this exciting project. £50 donation per family would be amazing, but please give what you can (using Gift Aid if you are able to).Our next big fundraising event is the Clandon Park Run so click on the events page on the right to find out more details and how to earn house points by sponsoring our Science Teachers. You can also make a donation via your mobile, simply text george6 to 70660 to donate £5 Thank you for your continued support.
