Although the band launched a new brand identity in 2012, the core values of the organisation remain the same as they have been for the last forty years. Our primary focus is to compete at the highest level of pipe band competition whilst ensuring that we continue to teach as many local young pipers and drummers as we can. The title of our recent concert, "Forte" not only alluded to our 40th anniversary, but also pays reference to the strength that the organization has consistently maintained since 1972. The great news is we all raised £15kfor the new roof and the work was completed last Summer. The even better news is that the Finchley 50 2014 is back this year - bigger and better than ever! For those of you who may be new to this event, just a quick synopsis. There are four key ingredients which make this such an awesome event: Don't forget there's a 25 mile option and you still get all the benefits of the 50 miler, without the sore backside! You can put a team of up to 4 in and do 12.5 miles each. Whatever your cycling prowess we'll fit you in somewhere.
