Our loyal and friendly staff are on hand to serve teas, coffees and freshly made rolls, as well as salads and hot food each day. Profits from Mabel's are used at the discretion of our Committee to fund various projects and requests for funds all with the aim of enhancing the comfort and care of the patients of Glasgow Royal Infirmary and their families. We give morehelp to the people who need it most; real help with genuine care and common sense, delivered by racing people for racing people. That’s why we’re always there for a friendly chat, too. Our Aim is: To relieve and prevent financial hardship amongst persons involved in or connected with the sport of oval circuit racing who are in need by reason of incapacity, by providing grants and any other charitable support to such individuals.

YTD Raised: £0.00Welcome to St Peter’s Church, Norton St Peter’s is a lively, family-friendly church offering a mixture of traditional and more contemporary worship. We have two services each Sunday and a very active Sunday School. We also have other activities including a children’s club, parent & toddler sessions, house groups, bell-ringing, a youth group and more! Our regular congregation includes all ages and we welcome anyone regardless of where they are on their journey of faith. The church is here for the whole community of Norton and we recognise that we are all explorers together. We want our worship to honour God, and to enable all to meet with him - something for everyone. St Peter’s church was built at the turn of the 20th century, to replace the old church of St Nicholas which stood where the Derwent Swimming Pool is now. The church is spacious and well-cared for and is a popular venue for weddings and baptisms. St Peter’s is also used as a venue for concerts and other events as we can offer a large space with good acoustics. Our Lady Chapel is Norton’s war memorial. We have a peal of eight bells. As a church we want to be able to provide 'Something for Everyone' in terms of exploring faith, experiencing community and engaging with God. Our vision encourages us to be creative in our worship, honest in our teaching and discussion and caring in our consideration of others.
