Just Talk is a free listening service run by volunteers. We believe that talking can be the key to someone's well-being and want to be able to provide this service to the community. Our volunteer and trained listeners are available every Thursday between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
Action for Elders is a registered charity that works to make older peoples’ lives better. We aim to end loneliness by offering local support with physical, mental and social programmes. We work to ensure that older people have the opportunity to stay fit, healthy and fulfilled, while reducing social and health care costs for local and national governments. We want to change the way that people think and care about older people.
Upchurch church is a Grade 1 listed building dedicated to St Mary the Virgin. It was built by the Normans in 1300 and the 6 giant bells were added from 1550. The bell tower has an unusual upper octagonal 'candle snuffer' roof but the lower roof and inside of the upper roof now need major renovation.
Hunt's Shopmobility, established in 2006, is a self-funding charity that hires out scooters, manual wheelchairs, and other mobility aids to anyone who needs them. We are based in Princes Street Car Park in Huntingdon and are the only scheme of our kind in Huntingdonshire.

The 23rd Bromley Scout Group are a central part of the local community, we are constantly looking for new ways to meet the needs of our young people and provide them with opportunities to further themselves as individuals.
WWT Charity is the self funding custodian of Whitchurch Canal Arm on behalf of the community. There are huge commitments including grounds maintenance, canal side repair, dredging, signage to name a few. We reach out to volunteers, visitors, philanthropy far & wide to survive, thrive & even develop.
In Haiti, we help with medicine, we send 34 children to school each year and we feed 5 families per month. We have recently helped a family build a small earthquake proof home. We hope to one day build a school for the children of the area and continue to support families with food and medicine.
