Ribble Catchment Conservation Trust, better known as Ribble Rivers Trust is a small conservation charity based in the heart of the Beautiful Ribble Catchment. The Trust seeks to holistically improve the Ribble Catchment for people and wildlife, by working with Partners, Sakeholders and community groups to under take activities that will improve the River Ribble and all of its tributaries. This work ranges from working closely with farmers to help improve farms in a way that benefits both the environment and the farmer, to undertaking woodland creation with community groups to improve habitat, water quality and reduce flood risk. In addition the trust undertakes Invasive Species Control, River Clean Ups, Fish Passage projects and community engagement and education projects. The overriding aim is for a healthy Ribble Catchment for People and Wildlife, for current and future generations.
