MyDonate is closing (UK, 1025860) Browse events

YTD Raised: £0.00

Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.  We are constantly looking for ways to improve the experiences of our preschool children, be that through play, interaction or creative experiences like yoga and dance. We see every child as an individual and tailor the curriculum to suit each one. We constantly reflect on our interactions and try to extend the children's play in the moment. To that end, any donation you generously give will allow us to improve engagement, learning and the children's environment. We are also promoting the preschool in the wider community through rebranding and would love to buy some branded items like uniform. Some of our IT equipment is very antiquated and we would love to update this too. We are loving sharing the children's experiences through our investment in the Tapestry software. We have lots and lots of ideas and any donation will be used to make Crawshay preschool better than ever !! Please donate to support our cause:  Crawshay Preschool provides early years education and care from the ages of 2 to 5 years. We support each child in their learning through teaching, nurturing and play, to ensure they’re prepared for primary school. In our fun and lively environment, your child can build the confidence they need to achieve their full potential. Charity No: 1025860 Find out more Website http://www.crawshaypreschool.com

Help to build Kirima Parents Primary School in south west Uganda and transform childrens lives in this poor and remote area. The school started with 6 pupils in 1994 and now has 315 children most of them boarding. The school buildings are due to be demolished to make way for a much needed new tarmac road. We are taking this opportunity to upgrade the school facilities and increase its capacity to 400 children. We have launched an appeal for £150,000 to build new classrooms, a hall and dormitories. By the end of May 2011 we had raised £60,000. Seventeen supporters will be attempting the Humber Bridge half marathon (organised by the Rotary Club of Hull) on June 26th 2011 in a bid to raise another substantial sum towards our target. They include employees of John Good and Sons Ltd and Andrew Jackson Solicitors as well as members of St Lukes Church, Willerby. Other friends are travelling from as far as London.
