SAFAD is a charity run exclusively by students of Cranfield University. Our aims are:1) To relieve poverty in any part of the world by promoting appropriate development.2) To advance the education of the students of Cranfield University by the provision of overseas work experience.
WE RAISE MONEY LOCALLY MAINLY AT CHRISTMAS TIME. WE THEN HAVE 4 MEETINGS A YEAR WHERE WE DEBATE AND VOTE ON WHO SHOULD RECEIVE HELP OVER THE YEAR. ALL APPLICATIONS COME IN WRITING AND VARY FROM £100 REQUEST TO £5780. THE RECIPIENTS ARE ALMOST ALL LOCAL ALTHOUGH WE MAY OCCASIONALLY DONATE TO A NATIONAL CHARITY SUCH AS CHILDRENS WISH OR CHILDREN IN NEED. WE HAVE APPROXIMATELY 22 MEMBERS
The charity helps support schools and healthcare facilities for Tibetan refugees, and underprivileged children in Nepal. We have helped to establish and maintain a school in the Kathmandu Valley where 80 children now receive a good education in Tibetan, English and Nepali
We bring high quality education to disadvantaged children in remote, rural areas of India. Our mission is to provide these children - regardless of their gender, ethnicity or background - with the skills to enter mainstream schools and fulfil their potential.
As a charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists (the IAM) supports the raising of driving and riding standards and campaigns for increased on-road skills. We support and represent motorists, motorcyclists and cyclists through practical driving and riding programmes and urge all road users to act more responsibly and safely. We also aim to inform and influence government and decision makers to ensure that road safety remains a relevant topic and receives the focus and investment that it requires.
Friends of Saundersfoot School raises funds through a wide variety of activities. In 2014 we are running Easter Bingo, a summer fete and an Autumn fashion show & auction. We are also entering a team into the Tenby 10K and our caretaker, a teacher and several parents are competing in Ironman Wales.

The DreamTree School is a CACT initiative and an independent, non-profit school founded by Paul and Henriette Hubers. Their dream was to build a school for their son, Thom, and other children who, like him, are living with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Perth Cathedral, St Ninian’s, is in urgent need of repair if we are not to lose it – starting with the roof. Consecrated in 1850, it's a beautiful building - used for concerts and many other events by the whole community in Perth as well as being a place of prayer, worship and welcome.
RSPCA Harrogate & District support the work of the RSPCA inspectorate by taking in animals from them that may have been abused, abandoned or neglected, We then rehabilitate and find them loving homes. We also offer welfare assistance in the local area for neutering,microchipping etc.
