Pulmonary Fibrosis is responsible for 5,000 early deaths every year. Sufferers are often diagnosed very late in the illness and consequently many of them have to come to terms with it very quickly. Others have to give up work before retirement, move house because they can no longer cope with stairs, and need financial help to cope with special equipment purchase or rental.

Our vision is a world in which every bereaved child, and their family, receives the support they need. Our purpose is to provide bereavement support to promote resilience and provide emotional support to children, young people and their families and carers and assisting them to move positively through the grieving process. We believe that: - Grief is a normal, unavoidable process (not an illness or aberration) - Every child should have access to appropriate bereavement support - With appropriate support, a child can develop resilience and move positively through to adulthood and can develop coping strategies for positive mental health in adult life - With timely interventions, children and young people are less likely to engage in risky, antisocial and / or offending behaviours - Children should be supported to achieve their potential - Children should be heard and encouraged to express themselves - Children should be given the opportunity to explore feelings and emotions and understand that these change over time - Our bereavement services should be free at the point of access - We believe in the value of volunteering - We believe in treating everybody according to their needs - We believe in sound governance and management to the highest professional standards in all our spheres of activity

The McPin Foundation exists to transform mental health research by putting the lived experience of people affected by mental health problems at the heart of research methods and the research agenda. We are a small family foundation with big ambitions, registered charity number 1117336. Help us make a difference by supporting our work that addresses an issue that affects us all. 1 in 4 people experience mental health problems in their lifetime. We put people with mental health problems and families at the heart of research to ensure its focused on matters that really matter to people. Our work helps support people with mental health problems back into work. We help tackle the stigma of mental illness - so people are less afraid to seek help because of what others will say about them or how they will behave towards them. We evaluate the impact of new ideas and solutions to help keep people well - we need better treatments and support for mental health. Join us on our journey to transform mental health research. Help us fundraise so we can commission mental health research studies to progress user-focussed methodologies. Ensure we can fund the involvement of peer researchers in our research work. Make a difference by supporting us to grow as a charity so we can train, support, mentor and collaborate widely to develop user focussed mental health research across England. We are enormously grateful for all the support we receive. Thank you. More information can be found at www.mcpin.org
Who we are: Poppyscotland is Scotland’s leading veteran’s charity, ensuring that ex-service personnel and their families get the support that many urgently need as they adjust to life on civvy street. Whether someone is struggling to cope with a catastrophic battlefield injury, or living with emotional scars that haunt them everyday, Poppyscotland is there, providing immediate and practical assistance. While we’re perhaps best known for the iconic Scottish Poppy Appeal each November, the demand for our services comes 365 days a year. Sadly, as a result of recent conflicts, that demand is increasing every day, but you and the money you raise can make a real difference.

The SCOLIOSIS CAMPAIGN FUND raises money for people with scoliosis - abnormal twisting and curving of the spine. SCF is the joint fundraising arm of the SCOLIOSIS ASSOCIATION (UK) (SAUK) and the BRITISH SCOLIOSIS RESEARCH FOUNDATION (BSRF). Every penny SCF raises goes towards helping to support people with the condition as well as funding research into the causes and treatment of scoliosis. By supporting SCF, you're helping people with scoliosis now and in the future! We have some fantastic fundraising events which can all be seen on our new, updated website. So whether it's a run, cycle ride, bake sale, or show, we hope to see you at an SCF event soon! Thank you so much for your support.
