Hillingdon Slipstreamers is a registered cycling charity with an active membership range from ages 5 to 16 years. Run entirely by Volunteers, we provide a number of opportunities to grow and develop our young people as both cyclists or volunteers of the future.

The NHCT Sponsored Ride and Stride takes place every year on the second Saturday in September and involves chucrhes in chapels in the county who open doors for visitors who travel from place to place by cycling. It raises money which are used to help fund essential repairs to buildings of worship.
Project Twentyone is a major development project of St. Paul’s & St. George’s Church which will enable the church to become a more relevant, welcoming and serving community in Edinburgh’s city centre. The 190 year old church building is being re-designed to increase its capacity, add a welcoming foyer and create larger, contemporary facilities for the church and community groups who meet there.
At Orchard Pre-school we aim to provide a stimulating and safe environment for the children supporting the development of their self-confidence and self-esteem. We aim to encourage children’s social skills and give assurance, encouragement and appropriate praise. We introduce children to new experiences and concepts which can be built on throughout their lives. Equinox provides recovery support, care and accommodation to people with mental ill health, homelessness and alcohol / drug dependence. Often our service users have been turned away from other organisations due to their complex needs. Our aim is to assist people towards recovery and independence.
Everyday chidren are diagnosed with serious, life threatening illnesses, many of them have to travel to major hospitals for treatment which can be miles away from home. We raise funds to provide FREE accommodation to these families for as long as they need it, be it one night or several months.

Community Projects Africa is a registered UK charity set up in 2003 to provide support for impoverished people living in south and east Africa, predominantly Tanzania. Working with village elders and councils, we support community projects that provide schooling, vocational training, sanitation and safe water supplies. Integral to our mission and projects is the education of such communities on HIV Aids and assistance for families affected, as well as the promotion of environmentally friendly activities and conservation. We raise funds through donations and fund-raising events and pride ourselves on not wasting money on unnecessary administration - your donations go directly towards the project you want to support. CPA is currently running four active projects, all of which need your help to remain operational.
