Deptford Action Group for the Elderly (DAGE) runs a weekday pensioners' pop-in centre offering free admission and refreshments and assistance with seeking help and support from advice agencies and council departments such as occupational therapy to help maintain older people's independence at home. We also supervise elderly volunteers who befriend our otherwise isolated older users to our centre and help out in our adjoining charity shop, sorting stock, and with light repairs and helping customers.

The 5x50 challenge launched in 2012 as a charity challenge encouraging people to run, walk, cycle or 30 minute exercise equivalent every day for 50 days with the aim of changing exercise habits of a lifetime. So far we have raised in excess of £210,000 for various charities.
