Time for Families aims to support prisoners and their families during the prison sentence. Having a strong relationship can have a huge affect on re-settlement and helps reduce re-offending. We run courses that allow prisoners and their partners to mend and strengthen their relationships while inside - a chance that rarely ever happens for most prisoners. There are many challenges for a prisoner when they are released. We dont think that their relationship should be one of them! We also work with juvenile prisoners and their parents - teaching them good communication skills, so that on release the young person can return home. We give these families hope for a more positive future, and the tools to achieve that together. Time for Families has been running courses in prisons across the UK since 2004, and has seen great success. Find out more at www.timeforfamilies.org.uk
