(UK, 244075) Browse eventsHighway Projects is an organisation committed to supporting, befriending and working for disadvantaged people across the Middle East Highway Projects was set up in 1997 as a response to invitations from the Church in the Middle East to involve Christians in practical mission work. The focus of its work is amongst disadvantaged people from across the religious divide, especially within the Arab community. Over the years the work has taken us along the roads and into the towns and cities of the Holy Lands in which Jesus once walked, taught, healed, preached, died and came back to life. Our aim, ‘Sharing God’s love in Christ through word and deed’, is all about following in those footsteps and offering a genuine, creative, radical model of Christianity that shares our faith by giving others an opportunity to see it in friendship and action, and allows them to ask the questions about what we believe and why we do what we do. Our projects range from work with the elderly, the disabled, children, young people, practical work and reconciliation projects. Whether you are here to make a donation to support the work, or set up a fundraising page, we thank you for your support.
