The Barn Owl Trust is Britain's main source of information for one of the most beautiful birds on Earth. Anyone who has ever watched a wild Barn Owl hunting at dusk has surely been touched by the experience. Sadly, these magical birds have become increasingly rare – and the reasons are all man-made. Founded in 1988, the Barn Owl Trust is a small national charity working very hard to conserve the species and other wildlife. We are a small team of professional staff and volunteers, a grass-roots, non-profit organisation, based in Devon. With nearly 30 years experience in the field, we aim to be the experts on all aspects of UK Barn Owl conservation and pride ourselves on the sheer amount of practical conservation we do. Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.JustUs has worked in Bedford since 2014 to establish a new way of working with homeless people to help them move into their own accommodation. So far, all of our clients have been offered suitable housing, almost exclusively in their own accommodation. To achieve this, we make good use of homelessness laws to ensure that our clients access the assistance they are eligible for from their local authority and other statutory services. Our hope is that we can work with homeless people from our first contact with them through to the point where they no longer feel they need any more assistance from us. This means helping them to secure a home, obtain vital items for it and signpost them to more specialist support when requested to. At JustUs, we believe homeless people probably need two things as much as anything else:1. a home to move into2. a fair chance at keeping it.We are committed to using our funding effectively to maximise its impact. That means we only spend our funding on the bare essentials that are needed to carry out our work. Please see our Facebook site for more information about how we achieve this. Charity No: 1166198
