Oban Mountain Rescue Team provides search and rescue cover for an area covering the northwest of Argyll from Bridge of Orchy to Campbeltown and the islands including Mull and Jura. Our team consists of 37 active members all of who are unpaid volunteers dedicating their time to helping people in need, responding to between 15 and 20 call-outs a year. All our members are experienced mountaineers with vast amounts of local knowledge. Every member is also an emergency first aider. Our Parents have their own Snug where they can relax together as well as offer each other support and empathy Please donate to support our cause. We are a Charity that is totally volunteer run. Many of our families are bereft of any support to help them with the practical and emotional challenges involved when raising a child who is on the Autism Spectrum. It is not uncommon for families to experience severe crisis when appropriate support is not available. Butterflies-Haven is proud to have been able to make a difference to hundreds of families and we need to ensure that we continue to find the funding needed to safeguard our vital services.
