We support a membership of organisations and practitioners who engage 23,000 young people in theatre a week. We promote youth theatre arts and their role in the personal, social, educational and creative development of Scotland’s young people.
The Forget Me Nots was born in 2013 from an idea and a will to ensure that no Carer, loved one, friend or family member of someone living with Dementia in and around Crawley would ever feel alone; alone with the enormity of the diagnosis, alone with the pain of watching a person disappear, alone with the guilt of not being able to "cope" and finally alone when the end comes. The Forget Me Not Club exists to provide friendship, help, advice and a hand to hold when needed.
We are part of the Trussell Trust network but are an independent charity. We seek to provide food, basic toiletries and legal support to those in need who are referred to us by front line care professionals. We have one employee and many volunteers. We rely on donations of food, time and finance to help local people in crisis.
We're working in our local Huddersfield community to give young people access to incredible opportunities and skills that help them to launch well in today's world.
