Thank you for visiting our page Scouting brings an important benefit to the village of Otford and the wider world. The 15th provides young people aged 6 to 14 (and beyond) with Scouting adventure, combined with fun and an importunity to learn new skills. We organise and take part in community events and raise money for charities other than our own. We want as many people as possible to enjoy Scouting - both young and not so young! And if you’d like to volunteer check out our website

We strive to develop skills, provide opportunities and inspire young girls.' Fyvie Guide House is 'Creating a Future.'
Kol Chai prides itself in raising money for good causes. It is one of the tenets of our community and we support both Jewish and non Jewish causes. We raise money for Kol Chai all year round to help us do this and you can donate directly via our main Kol Chai page. At times, however, we open a special fundraising campaign - for the High Holy Days, of example. Currently, we have a campaign to raise money for our building refurbishment, so if you'd like to donate to this, just click on the 'campaigns' link to the left on this page. Thank you!

The Mayagna Children’s Fund provides funds in Nicaragua to support children, many of them rescued from the streets. It also provides funds for adults in what is the second poorest country in Central America after Haiti, according to World Bank statistics. Poverty, although declining steadily in recent years, remains high. More than 80% of Nicaragua’s poor live in the rural areas; many in remote communities where the access to basic services is still a daily challenge.
Up to 176 million Indian children are estimated to lack adequate care and protection, as they struggle to survive on the fringes of India's economic explosion - a number equivalent to well over twice the total population of the UK. Millions of children lead desperately difficult lives in appalling conditions, reminiscent of the poverty of Victorian London but on a subcontinental scale. Friends of Salaam Baalak Trust UK (FoSBT) believes that children in the 21st century should not suffer from such a gross lack of opportunity, and works towards easing the pain, leveling the playing field and igniting the potential of as many as possible of these modern-day Oliver(ia) Twists.
Leeds Community Healthcare Charity is one of more than 400 registered charities in the UK associated with NHS Trusts. Together these charities contribute £350million each year to patient care. Our aim is not to fund patient care, but to enhance and improve it – providing grants to projects that are over and above government funding. Leeds Community Healthcare Charity can make a difference by investing in new equipment; improving patient environments; or providing additional support for staff training. A donation given to Leeds Community Healthcare Charity can make a significant difference to people across Leeds, and a difference that will continue for years into the future.
