More than 80% of Nicaragua’s poor live in the rural areas; many in remote communities where the access to basic services is still a daily challenge.

Friends of Salaam Baalak Trust UK (FoSBT) believes that children in the 21st century should not suffer from such a gross lack of opportunity, and works towards easing the pain, leveling the playing field and igniting the potential of as many as possible of these modern-day Oliver(ia) Twists.
