FREE CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES Our regular children's art classes are back – and thanks to generous people like you, the classes for 7 - 13 year olds are now FREE!The gallery provides art classes with a difference: they are led by professional artists, they relate to and explore the contemporary art on show, they run for 6-week blocks and now they are free! There is nothing else of this calibre available for free in the local area. There has already been a huge amount of local support for these classes, and the first block of free sessions for 7 – 13 year olds will begin in April 2015.However,we want to offer free family art classes to children under 5 as well, and we need your help to do it. The ambition is to provide free art classes to each age range this year and into the future. We want to raise £X this year to establish Free Regular art classes in Penzance.

For over 90 years, our distinct and specially tailored welfare schemes have helped thousands of men, women and children within the Armed Forces community, who are in financial hardship or in need of extra support as a result of military circumstance. Formed in 1921 to safeguard the interests of wives, widows and children of men who served in the Great War, we continue today to support those in need through educational sponsorship and annuities, family welfare breaks and direct grants to women and children disadvantaged by military circumstance.  Our support services are available to the entire Armed Forces community; from service personnel and veterans to military spouses and children. Inspired by Erin (UK, 1160659) Browse events

YTD Raised: £0.00

Erin Bates was 11 years old when she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Following treatment it appeared that she was beating the disease and tried to get back into playing football, with her team Washington AFC u12 Wildcats, which she enjoyed before she became ill. She found it difficult with her obvious physical and mental frailties. Unfortunately Erin passed away in July 2014 and as part of her legacy her family and friends initially raised around £17000 for local and national children's cancer charities. In October 2014 we decided to set up our own charity to help children in Erin's situation to return to sport and physical activity in an environment suitable for their needs to promote and improve their physical and mental health. Thank you for visiting our page.
