Each year by working in partnership with business we mobilise around 1500 volunteers who deliver deliver the following:Support 8500 children and young people in primary and secondary schools a year developing their employability, numeracy and literacy skills..We support care experience, homeless and NEET young people age 15 to 24 people to find work or access education and training. We also offer them help sorting out their many pressing life issues. We also support them voicing their concerns and issues to the organisations that support them.We support ex offenders finding work which is the springboard to turning their lives around. We provide lots of practical support to community groups such as improving their facilities or turning wasteland into a play area and also provide social functions for isolated groups.
