St. John's Church Bridgetown Totnes devon (UK, 1128123) Browse events

YTD Raised: £0.00

St. John's is a loving, community-centred, church which is working hard to meet the many social, emotional, relational and spiritual needs of the people of Bridgetown, Totnes, Devon. Bridgetown is an area of economic deprivation, and the residents of our community daily face many challenges. As a church, we have the aspiration to use our facility to build a truly relational centre for our community, accessible to any of our neighbours, helping to make it difficult to be lonely in Bridgetown. Our challenge is that the windows in our building are in serious decay, and in danger of falling out. We have a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help us replace all ten principal windows in the building, but we are still substantially short of the money that we need to ensure that St. John's can stay open and continue to serve its community. We are looking for people who can see the difference that our church can make in our community, and who will come alongside and partner with us financially to complete our project.
