Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. After 61 year’s service, the school pool’s failed on health & safety :-( Do we let it go under (most surrounding schools have had to let their pools go)? Or do we hold onto a vision of every child a swimmer? :-) Our head teacher, Miss Cameron, is doing a sponsored night in the (empty) pool. Our PTA have raised £35k and the school’s stretched itself thin, investing a whopping £250,000. But – we’re still £150,000 short. And we can’t let it go under now…. 40% of kids in the UK leave Primary unable to swim. We’re trying to do our bit to turn that tide by giving each of our 1,000 pupils the chance to learn a sport which can save their life – and someone else’s. Every penny counts. Thanks for your support…. Charity No: 802771 Find out more Website http://www.everychildaswimmer.com/
