Our pilot project began in Kashmir, after the 2005 earthquake which took over 100,000 lives. Our immediate response ensured temporary school facilities and a medical centre which serves a population of over 12,000 people who would otherwise have no access to medicine. When donating to the AHS Foundation, you can be sure your money is spent intelligently and carefully. Our strength is in our size: a small devoted team of volunteers who have extensive fieldwork experience; your money is not wasted on expensive executive salaries, with the AHS Foundation every penny goes further.
